2020 OFS Flute Competitions
The Oklahoma Flute Society announces the following upcoming Flute Competitions to be held at the Flute Fair on Saturday, March 28, 2020 at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK.
The Oklahoma Flute Society will sponsor three (3) Flute Competitions.

Competition Selection Process
-
When the entry deadline has passed, the OFS Competition Coordinator renames each of the entry files to reflect an anonymous number.

Anonymous entries are then given to the three preliminary round judges.

Judges are asked to rank each entry.
-
The Competition Coordinator averages the rankings.
-
Entrants with the four best scores are invited to participate in the competition.
Please Note:
-
Flutists who won First-Prize in the Collegiate Competition are not eligible to re-enter.

For the Master Class Competitions (both undergraduate and high school), there are no restrictions to the number of times a student can participate in this event.
-
Students in the High School Masterclass must be currently enrolled as a high school student.
