Welcome to the Oklahoma Flute Society!

 

We have 4 different types of membership:

·      Pre-college Student        $26

·      College Student               $26

·      Active member                $36

For adults 18 or over.  Only Active members may vote and participate on the OFS Board.  College students may choose this    category or the discounted College Student category.

·      Sustaining member​​     $46

For student or active members.  Sustaining members are recognized in our programs.

Your membership includes access to:

 

·    Oklahoma Flute Fair – An exciting weekend of performances and workshops for all ages and levels of flutists, featuring an   internationally recognized guest flutist.

·    Solo & Ensemble Festival – An opportunity for pre-college students to perform for comments and awards.

·    Honor Flute Choir and Adult Flute Choir

·    OFS Members’ Recital – Featuring adult member solo and flute choir performances.

·    All-State and CODA clinics

·    And all other OFS events

As a member, your dues help make possible: 

​

·    Commissions of new music for solo flute and flute choir.

·    Outstanding High School Soloist cash awards.

·    Collegiate Competition cash awards.

·    Performance and educational opportunities with the OFS Adult and Honor Flute Choirs - Music and “big flutes” for these   ensembles (2 altos, 2 basses, and a contrabass) are provided by the OFS.

·    Community outreach assistance to flutists statewide.

·    Event announcement of local flute related activities and performances.
