OFS Adult Flute Choir
Natalie Syring, Director

The Oklahoma Flute Society Adult Flute Ensemble has performed regularly throughout the central Oklahoma area since 1997. The Ensemble plays at nursing homes and retirement homes, in addition to performing at OFS events such as the Member’s Recital and the Flute Fair.  The group has been a featured ensemble at the Downtown OKC Library concert series “Noon Tunes”.  The OFS Adult Flute Choir was chosen by audition to perform at the National Flute Association convention in Dallas in 2001 and in Kansas City in 2008.

The Oklahoma Flute Society Adult Flute Choir is open to any adult flutist.  The diversified membership consists of professional and amateur flutists. We are teachers, lawyers, librarians, homemakers, pharmacists, managers, hair stylists, loan officers and landscapers—just to name a few of our diversified professions. We usually practice on Sunday afternoons (currently at the University of Central Oklahoma), and we welcome you to blow the dust out of your flute and join our group. We accept all members past high school age.

The Oklahoma Flute Society has commissioned several works for the Adult Flute Choir. For information on these works, please visit our Commisions Page.
